The original fork springs are only designed for ordinary road use. Under racing conditions, use is restricted to short rest intervals.

Ohlins fork springs are approximately 10% harder than standard springs, which means they greatly increase the possible operating range of the original fork.

Exchanging the front fork springs is one of the most cost effective way to improve the bike's front fork. Together with the specifically developed high-quality oil from Ohlins, a considerable improvement in the responsiveness and performance of an original fork can be achieved.
