Splash Guard
The rear wheel of the F does not have a guard. This leaves the riders', and especially the passengers' legs exposed to dirt and wetness. Water is splashed unhindered over the boots and thighs. The result is a soaking wet and soiled rider, as well as passenger. But not just the users of the bike are affected, the water penetrates deep into any part of the rear sub frame and especially the rear shock absorber unit, suspension links, swing arm and rear of the gearbox. Any unprotected technical or metal part subjected to a constant torrent of dirty water will show effects. Oxidation and corrosion damage are predetermined, and cleaning the rear of the bike is a time-consuming task.
The guard is fixed to the swing arm with metal brackets, the fender itself is made of tough, fiber reinforced ABS plastic with some strengthening shapes built in the design. The easily attached part puts an end to all sorts of half baked solutions and protects the rear of the bike in a very impressive manner. Plastic can be painted if desired using automotive paint, suitable for ABS plastics.
