CSS Tank Pads

On both my own bikes, as well as those of clients, I universally install the Wunderlich Tank Pad kits. The installation process is quite simple, recurring only cleaning of the tank service for good adherence. Alignment follows very closely to the tank form, and the double-sided tape is somewhat forgiving. Should it need to be repositioned later. I also appreciate that the installation is not permanent in that if desired, the pads can be removed in the event of damage, or for other reasons, without damaging the finish on the tank. As someone that prefers to ride with my knee close against the tank, and also gives bike the bike input through my through that method, I find the tank pads, not only comfortable to grip, but also protect the finish on the tank from abrasion from my riding clothes or suit. These are very close in terms of texture, and appearance to the early pads that were used on the BMW Paris Dakar bikes from the 1990s, giving both a very high quality factory, looking finish and durability.
