Vario-Ergo Handle Bar Riser
The GT is an awesome combination of a high performance sport bike and a touring bike. Many GT riders however find that the seating position is too sporty for comfortable long distance touring and so Wunderlich addressed the need for additional handlebar adjustment with these beautiful adjustable bar risers.
These are exquisitely machined and match the styling of the existing handlebars perfectly. The handlebars can be raised 1-1/2 and brought approximately 3/4" closer with these risers and that can make all the difference! No change to any hoses or cables is needed and complete instructions are included, explaining the easy installation procedure.

I found it more comfortable in many way but lost control easier in "top heavy" situations that are famous with BMWs. I bought the bike from a 6'3" person who bought the accessory when new and toured extensively fully load one-up.

These risers give more than enough added range of adjustment to let me get my bars where I am most comfortable. i did have to work a bit at the brake line and clutch line routing to get them to move freely through the range of steering movement.
