Wunderlich Luggage Rack, Black

Very well made and sturdy. Looks great on the bike too bad I can include a photo. I gave 4 stars for a couple reasons. Price, it's not made of gold. Also, the supplied mounting bolts would have looked much better if they were black no zinc colored. If I didn't really need this for a long trip I never would have paid $599 for only the luggage rack.

Definitely a quality product. I got the black rack, the fit was perfect, great welds and finish. Looks good on the bike, not to large, not to small the right size to add luggage to the bike. I had just gotten back from a 10 day trip and don't like packing gear high, this gives me the flexibility to rearrange my packing and keep it low. The only minor negative I had was that the install instructions were not specific in which length bolts go where. It was easy enough to figure out when I did my install.

Hesitated about buying accessories sight unseen however the sport crusier needed a bit of help for multiple night trips. The black luggage racks works great with the black handle bars. Installing the luggage rack was simple and the fit was spot on. Items arrived in a timely fashion was pleased and ordered the sissy bar and back rest to match.

Fast order fulfillment but, a couple problems yet to be resolved. Design flaw requiring mounting the license plate light to be removed and be mounted upside down. Not that big of a problem. The luggage rack itself could not be installed due to mismatch of the bolt holes. Customer service, Jeff, has been very curious. The rack is currently in transit back to Wunderlich America in California. Glitches happen during initial manufacturing runs. Waiting to see how quickly this is ultimately handled and rectified. I have a 5000+ trip planned, leaving in 2 weeks, was counting on having the luggage rack for the trip, have begun fabricating my own luggage rack, If I get mine fabricate first will not need the Wunderlich rack. Just a refund.
