Cockpit Bag

Designed specifically to fit in the space above the cockpit, this high-grade cockpit bag is always within reach and makes optimum use of the space available. The bag is produced from the sustainable CORDURA® TrueLock™ and has a compartment with a water-repellent and non-slip zip that can even be opened with gloves. It's ideal for small items that need to be close at hand. The top of the bag bears the Wunderlich brand logo and a partially applied, high-grade rubber coating for protection. CORDURA® TrueLock™ excels through its robustness, abrasion resistance and color fastness.

The bag is secured simply and elegantly with two LOXX system closures, as well as one hidden Velcro element on the base.

Wunderlich BLAU – based on the example of sustainable fabric
The new CORDURA® TrueLock fabric, which we use for the ELEPHANT L top bag, is made from high-strength 6.6 multi-filament nylon fibres that are produced in an extrusion process. In this continuous process, the colour added is “trapped” in the fibres and locked in. This eliminates annoying subsequent dyeing and washing processes. The process developed by CORDURA® inventor INVISTA for manufacturing CORDURA® TrueLock™ therefore reduces resource consumption, as less water and energy are required. It also reduces CO2 emissions, while increasing its robustness and extending its useful life. This new type of fabric demonstrates yet further optimised, outstanding colour retention, colour brightness and UV-stability. It was also possible to further improve both the fade and abrasion resistance.
