CSS Tank Pads

These pads were specially designed to match the contours and lines of the K1600 GT and GTL and they are a new, updated design that replaces the previously available version. These tank pads are molded of high quality polyurethane in Germany by CSS. They attach with very strong adhesive yet can be removed, if ever needed, without damaging the painted surfaces of the motorcycle. This pad set will help prevent scuffs and scratches to the paint while adding a unique styling enhancement. They also serve to provide a firm and comfortable grip for the knees when riding off road. All three pads are included in this set.

Please note: This pad will NOT fit the K1600 GTL Exclusive. The metal inset in the tank cover of the GTL Exclusive is raised so your pad will not have a flat surface to mount to.

The installation video provided precise instructions for mounting the pads. The pads look great on the the motorcycle and are very functional. I have not had an issue with them not sticking to the surfaces of the motorcycle. Great products!

Protects the paint from ridding suit abrasions

The Knee pads are staying in place and protecting paint as designed. The Tank Pad, which is a thicker material, does not adhere as well as the thinner Knee Pads, even though the site was cleaned in the same fashion as the Knee Pads. The top corners keep coming loose on my BMW K1600 GTL.

My riding pants were scratching the pant on my tank. I added the side pads only. They installed easily and look good. I've only had them on for a few weeks, but the material seems to be similar to the pads I had on my ST1300 - and they looked like new after over 70,000 miles. I previously used more expensive TechSpec C3 pads on the K16 which looked great and worked well. However, they are listed as being a wear item and indeed they are....after one riding season (14k miles) I had worn through them.

Supper easy to install, look like there part of the bike and helps when I mount the bike not to scuff the paint on the tank. They also have a nice feel when you squeeze down on the tank with your knees. they actually look nice on the bike.

The CSS tanks pads looks great. The center pad did not stick well and after a brief conversation with Wunderlick and replacement was dispatched and delivered without question. Overall the pads adds to the look of the bike, giving me more grip when squeezing the tank and protects the painted surfaces as well. Customer service was excellent and went the extra distance to ensure I was satisfied!
