    Description

    Turn Signal Cancel Lever

    Here's a small part that's a big improvement:

Perhaps you have experienced the rather clumsy operation of the turn signal cancel switch. The newer switch gear does offer some improvements over previous versions but the position and function of the cancel button seems to have taken a step backwards.

Therefore, we created this turn signal cancel lever and it offers vastly improved function and ergonomics. The part simply attaches to the right side mirror perch and now instead of contorting and trying to find the small cancel switch, you simply press on the easy to find lever and presto, riding enjoyment is once again improved by Wunderlich.

    Some Facts:

    • Easier to cancel the turn signals
    • 1.5mm thick, high quality spring steel
    • Powder coated black
    • Easy to install
    • Made in Germany

    Better than original

New to BMW after years of Japanese so when I learned of this setup I ordered it for 94 r1100rs. Super easy to install, seems legit. It works in the garage now I just need a warm day to try it.
    Better than before

Our 2009 RT and 2014 GS have acceptable turn signal cancelling switch positions. However the switch on my 1997 RT "sucks". BMW improved the position greatly when the 1200s were introduced. When I discovered the Wunderlich lever modification I ordered it immediately. It is easy to install and is indeed a big improvement but on the "stiff" side. You'll have to make sure to watch the dash display and make certain it has worked. I had to bend it slightly to decrease the gap between the contact area and the switch. Just when I got really comfortable with BMW's design they cop-out and change to the 70's japanese button on the new bikes.

Being a new BMW owner, (96 R1100RT) I was not used to having separate turn signal switches. I read about this item on a BMW forum and thought I would give it a try. This is a very simple device, but very well engineered. It look me less than 2 minutes to install. It is well worth the cost and it makes quick work of cancelling the signals.
