    Cockpit Bag

This refined bag has been custom built to snugly fit in the unused space between windshield and dashboard covering of the water cooled RT.

The bag is attached by Velcro and two Tenax fasteners. Protected lining absorbs vibrations keeping all of your crucial items safe and within hands reach. Bag is made with water resistant zippers, sturdy all-weather Cordura, and blue lining.

    Dimensions: Approximately 25cm wide, 20cm deep and 5cm high. (10 x 8 x 2 inches)

Fitment: If using in conjunction with the navigation security kit (#21170402) then you would need to order Loxx Long Screw Set part number 20653410

Please Note: Although the materials used in this rack bag are water resistant, if exposed to extended periods of rain, water can find its way through the seams. Exercise common sense when storing or transporting valuables that can become damaged by water or moisture.

    cockpit bag
bag was perfect but the pictures of the bolt looks like it came with some type of washer that had a small shoulder on it? it was just a plastic flat washer not a shoulder bolt and if I installed this on my new 2018 r1200rt the faring would rattle the whole time riding it. this product is missing the right parts so I say it SUCKS??? have purchased other things from wunderlich and they where awesome but this bag sucks?

    Nice but Overpriced
Quality is nice and fit is spot on. But once I saw the amount of material involved in the product, the sticker shock hit. Like most BMW products this was one that is very overpriced for what you get. It’s a bag Wunderlich not a small suitcase!

    cockpit Bag
Had placed a lock for the navigation unit first and placed on the BMWR1200RT saw the cockpit bag thought it was a great idea but the screws did not fit in the designated areas it was too small so had to improvise and added Velcro to all sides and bottom so far 100 miles and remains intact doubt I will be removing bag just a spot for change and documents

    One essential addition
Great idea and execution. Information and instruction on installation was not included, but not impossible to figure it out.

    Great Idea
I wish there were more companies with this type of creative thinking. This is the perfect bag for any small item you want to store that you may need quick access to. It takes about 2 seconds to detach the bag, so you don't have to reveal the contents when you leave your bike. Easy install, but torque specifications would be good to have. Highly recommended for RT owners.

Cockpit Bag for the R1200RTW - Every extra little bit of storage helps.
Leave it to Wunderlich to find a way to make the space between your R1200RTWs wind screen and dash. Installation is a breeze and the fastening mechanism is truly ingenious. Pop out 2 torx blots on the top of your dash and screw in the provided snap screws. A small velcro fastener is provided to to hold down the bag in the back. Rode 400 miles from the MOA and found this bag great for keeping my toll pass, some papers, and my wallet within easy arms reach. Not sure i would be sunglasses or anything think in it as if you open and close the windscreen it may get a bit tight. Construction is great as you would expect from Wunderlich. as they say, never enough storage, this new cockpit bag helps that a little bit .
