The Wunderlich lowering set moves the footrest down (-40mm) and slightly forward, allowing for a more relaxed and comfortable sitting position during long rides. Made of machined aluminum and anodized in silver. The product comes with all the necessary mounting parts. The position of the panniers can make for an uncomfortable ride for a passenger's legs and often leads to a cramped sitting position. This allows you to keep the original footrests and freely use the BMW panniers, while optimizing passenger comfort with these quick modifications.

These are not very cheap...or even reasonable in cost actually. They do work for what they were made to do. Easy to install and within minutes too. My wife loves them and they have made the bike more usable for her and so it was worth the purchase. They also do look like they belong on the bike and do not look like an add-on.
