Rear Brake Lever Enlarger

It's important to be able to find the rear brake pedal when you need it! This machined plate simply bolts onto the rear brake pedal with no modifications needed. It substantially increases the size of the rather small original brake pedal and provides a greater margin of safety and level of comfort. The deep cut serrations provide excellent grip, especially important on wet days.

In its original form the footrest area of the brake lever is unfortunately rather small, which all too often presents a safety risk. Slipping off or missing the lever altogether are a thing of the past with this gear lever extension. A visual delight, which refines the lever with a sporty look.

It would be nice if the enlarger didn't stick out quite so far from the bike. It went from being hard to find to sort of in the way. Still, an improvement over the stock. Just re-tool and square off the outside edge.

Makes a big difference if you've had pegs lowered

I had the pegs lowered on my 2014 R1200RT and as a result, the brake lever was almost out of reach. It was too far inboard and too high, and required an awkward twist of my ankle, not ideal and unsafe in emergency braking. The brake enlarger installed easily over the stock lever and immediately resolved the problem. Only 2 of the 3 pre-drilled screw holes were properly aligned but it turned out not to be an issue. Works exactly as advertised.

Good add on, especially if you have lowered the foot pegs.

After lowering my foot pegs, I realized that the brake lever was further away due to the fact that the bracket on the lowering adapter pushed the pegs out over 1". Adding this adapter made the brake lever accessible again!
