Wunderlich Handlebar Risers
The handlebar riser specially designed by our developers increases the handlebars moderately by 25 mm. The ergonomic effects are considerable, as they have a relaxing effect on the entire back muscles and arms and at the same time relieve the spine, pelvis and tailbone. This enormously improves suitability for touring and comfort. And relaxed driving also ensures a plus in passive safety, just like the better overview of what is happening on the road, which results from the more upright sitting position.

Quality product, easy to install, gave the perfect amount of height for me, and it maintains an oem look.

Easy to Install and has a great finish. Initially I was concerned if the risers would fit the look of the bike but once installed, you can’t even tell there are risers on. They fit the look incredibly well. The S1000R does not need risers, but they do provide a great amount of comfort for long distance trips and you’re still able to tuck at high speeds comfortably. Installation: You’ll have plenty of cable line for your left and right controls but it could be helpful to cut the zip ties that hold the wires together first for additional slack. You can re-tie them after you’ve installed the risers. I made the mistake of trusting the line length and ended up half disconnecting my throttle sensor as the height was stretching the cable ever so slightly. If it does disconnect, your TFT will display an error message. All you need to do is plug in the connector correctly, and let the bike get its bearings for a minute or two with ignition off.

Bought these after having the OEM BMW 10mm risers and while those risers were nice, I wanted a more relaxed ride. Installation was easy and straight forward. Make sure you buy some small zip ties for the wiring harness since you may need to cut them for adjustments and they are not supplied. After riding with them for a month, the ride is much more relaxed, is easier on my back and wrists and I can ride longer at any speed without much discomfort. The 2022 S1000R is really vibey at the stock bar height but with these, the vibrations are almost not noticeable, probably because I am not so much leaning on my wrists anymore. I think the only issue is that cornering will feel different. It is not bad but you will need to learn to adjust yourself. Great quality risers and would recommend!
