This high-quality aluminum holder was originally developed in conjunction with our waterproof MediaBag. In the course of the one-year test phase, that covered more than 60,000 kilometers, we further developed the MultiPod and turned it into a unique platform for a variety of applications.
Now, we have taken the original one-piece MultiPod design and made it even more versatile by virtue of the all new modular design. With this new MultiPod, you have even more flexibility and possibilities for mounting.

The two ball heads can be adjusted independently
- The two ball heads can be rotated through 360 degree and tilted to any position through 180 degree.
- Continuous fine adjustment using the two fixing screws.
- For additional attachment options a separate stainless-steel extension piece is available.
- The length can be adjusted by removal / insertion of the center piece

I bought the MultiPod system because I hated the look of the RAM mounts that I was going to be forced to use to mount my GPS where I wanted. It looks great and fit just where I wanted. (I purchased the BMW ring mount for my 1200GS.) Upon reading the other reviews, I also purchased extra thumb screws to use in place of the set screws that come with the mount. The problem is that the set screw and the thumb screw both work their way loose with the vibrations from gravel and rough roads. I doused both with medium strength LocTite and all seems to be well. Really good looking setup and pretty smart engineering since the GPS mount can be configured for different models. You just have to be ok with the blue ring that mounts to your GPS.

I am using it to mount a Garmin Zumo on my R1200 RTW. Works very well and looks like it belongs on the bike. My only concern is that sooner or later I will lose one of the small set screws on the adjustable head.

I used the MultiPod, the MultiPod Adapter along with an iPhone 6 RAM mount to make keep my phone visible and handy on my 2014 R1200RT. I run the connection cord from my RT to my phone without issues. This piece of hardware is expensive, but there is nothing on the market that compares. The Multipod is a very high quality component that I am proud to have on my BMW.
