Wunderlich Driveshaft Illumination

One of the fascinating highlights of the BMW R 18 is the exposed rotating shaft of the cardan drive. It is even more fascinating to perfectly stage the nickel-plated shaft in the twilight and the dark. Illuminated with LED white light, the nickel surface and the rear universal joint come into their own and provide an unexpected wow effect!

With the enclosed pre-assembled Quick Connect cable set, the lighting is plugged into the original BMW connections of the DIN socket on the connection side. It is thus ingeniously integrated into the power supply of the onboard network. In this way, the slot and, therefore, the function of the socket are retained for other consumers. The button integrated into the wiring harness is discreetly mounted in front of the right-hand side cover using a vehicle-specific bracket. This makes it easily accessible for the rider. The lighting itself is installed inconspicuously above the gimbal.
