CSS Tank Pads

This five piece set was specially designed to match the contours and lines of the R1200 RT-LC, these tank pads are molded of high quality polyurethane in Germany by CSS. They attach with very strong adhesive yet can be removed, if ever needed, without damaging the painted surfaces of the motorcycle. (The pads will however be destroyed!)

This pad set will help prevent scuffs and scratches to the paint while adding a unique styling enhancement. Protect your fairing's finish, while adding a personalized accent to your RT.

The fit and finish of these pads is great. They look great on my 2022 r1250rt. My only grip is that the adhesive is just not wanting to stick in a few places. The surfaces were properly cleaned prior to mounting (this isn't my first rodeo), but they still fail to hold properly.

This is the 3rd set I've purchased and installed. I keep buying them because they are a superior product. I find its important to protect as much of the BMS Tupperware as possible. These are cheap insurance against accidental damage. I've learned to use an Exacto type knife to remove the tape plastic and it works well.

This is my second set of CSS Tank Pads for the R1200RT. My original pair was purchased in 2014 with my RTW. They have done the job of providing grip and protection. I recently got a set of new painted panels for my RT so changed the color from Ebony to Red. I got another set of CSS Tank Pads for this new set of covers. I used the other set for almost 5 years and 34K miles. I am sure this new set will win me over again! Applies easy and forgiving for realignment if you change your mind when applying.
