    Description

    Front Brake Reservoir Protector, Silver

Both front hydraulic reservoirs are mounted in a fairly exposed position, and even a minor fall can cause expensive damage and maybe the premature end of a holiday trip...After three of our own damaged reservoirs, we designed these complexly structured protectors which are mounted and supported through several strong mounting points. In order to be able to absorb impacts a relatively thick aluminum was chosen. Lightening slots were machined in to ensure the end product is strong, light and also looks good. Can be used with or without fitted original hand protectors. Sold complete with fitting kit.

    Protection is worth the price

Since the front brake reservoir is mostly plastic, investing in a metal protector makes sense. This one's made of thick but lightweight aluminum, so it looks like it can resist almost anything. If this breaks, the rest of your bike is gonna be dead anyway! Installation is straightforward. I suggest you install the handlebar bracket first, positioning it so that you can get to the bolts and nuts. After that, you can rotate it into position and then screw in the mirror.

    Easy Install

Took about 7 minutes to get out the right tools and install on my 2011 BMW R1200 GS. Tight fit and it remains to be seen what kind of a crash this will protect from.

    Great Quality and Look

I installed this product on my new R 1200 GS 2012. The item is well built and designed. easy to install and really fits well on the bike, add this to the clutch reservoir and you will have the comfort of safety to these critical parts in case of a tip over and the great look of the bike. Strongly recommend it for both reasons functionality and looks.
