Wunderlich Back Support for Original Rider's Seat, Black

This back support for the original BMW rider's seat is attached to the original pillion seat and fulfills two functions:

It supports the sacrum, the area that connects the spine and pelvis. It relieves pressure on the lower back and increases comfort. In addition, the steeper angle compared with the standard design at the transition to the pillion seat optimises contact with the rear end of the rider's seat. This provides noticeably greater comfort, especially on long journeys.

At the same time – and this is the second function of the back support – it closes off the front opening of the pillion seat and prevents dirt and dust from entering the opening and accumulating there. This eliminates an opening that many riders find visually distracting and functionally redundant.

The shape of the back support follows the contour of the pillion seat and integrates harmoniously into the side silhouette of the Adventure. Important: The height adjustment of the rider's seat remains fully functional.

Inside, a solid, three-dimensionally formed sheet with a material thickness of two millimetres, overmoulded with EPDM, provides the necessary rigidity. The support is attached to the pillion seat and secured with screws. The required mounting material, consisting of two sleeves and two screws, is included.
