Wunderlich Brake Lever Enlargement, Stainless Steel
Many riders find the standard foot brake lever pedal to be too small. Searching for it repeatedly often results in inaccurate positioning, and unfortunately, slipping with the tip of the boot is almost inevitable. Slipping – or worse, the dreaded empty step – is now a thing of the past with our brake lever enlargement. Its high-quality finish makes it a visual highlight: the anti-slip, distinctive, jagged profile and the open design reinforce the adventure look and provide excellent grip – not only in wet conditions and off-road.
Our trapezoidal brake lever enlargement, made from durable and robust stainless steel, is securely mounted onto the standard lever using two screws. This measure significantly enhances comfort, facilitates precise braking, and reduces the risk of over-braking. This means an added level of operating and active safety in crucial situations!

The OEM brake pedal is definitely too short and slim. This brake level enlargement is almost perfect. The install is a PITA. The small plate that holds the OEM pedal to the enlargement pedal is too short and you have to ensure that it sits evenly on both sides. And the screw placement in itself is a juggling act to get in place so it doesn't jar the small plate out of alignment. Once it is installed the brake enlargement pedal is awesome.

Once you get it installed, it's a good upgrade. The BMW stock brake pedal is too small, and in an emergency you'll waste time and attention hunting for it with your foot. The only explanation for BMW's stock pedal design is schadenfreude.
tl;dr: The Wunderlich extension pedal install is painful.
Why? The attachment plate that bonds the extender pedal to the bike's brake pedal is very hard to align properly. The very edges of the plate rest on a couple of small edges inside the bike's pedal, and it *really* wants to slide off the bike's brake pedal as you try to engage the bolt. Let the attachment plate slip right or left by one millimeter, and you're fishing for parts inside the pedal, then starting over. The trick is to reach up with one hand up into the bike's pedal from the bottom, hold the plate as centered as you can, drop the bolt in from the top, and then try to get the bolt threaded without disturbing the plate.
The torque on the bolt is only 3.6 N-m, and you better use a torque wrench or you'll bend the attachment plate. I would have designed the plate slightly wider and machined a couple of centering groves into it, and added a bolt spacer to prevent it from being over-torqued.

This is a simple and easy way to get the right side for your brakes. Total worth it.
