Whether you’re heading off on a motorway trip, up to the North Cape or across the desert: these sturdy, lightweight and stylish aluminium EXTREME cases will accompany you through thick and thin! Mounting them on the carrier is straightforward thanks to the quick-release system. Their special sealing system makes them completely dustproof and waterproof. The consistent use of high-quality materials ensures the longevity of our “EXTREME” luggage system. The 1.5 mm aluminium sheets with reinforcing beads (weight-optimised yet robust), stainless steel fittings, replaceable all-round corner protection and protective lock caps all contribute to this durability.

Thanks to the additional lashing eyes on the lid, extra luggage – for example our Rack Pack bags – can be securely strapped on. The case lids come with practical interior luggage nets as standard, ideal for anything you want quick access to while on the road: rain gear, tools or a first-aid kit.

After unlocking the two latch locks located at the front and rear, the lid can be completely removed, allowing the cases to be conveniently loaded from above. If only one of the two locks is opened, the second lock acts as a hinge, allowing the lid to open either forwards or backwards, held securely in place by a retaining strap.

The untreated aluminium version is perfect for purists who appreciate the material’s authentic, uncoated and rugged character.

Matching EXTREME and EXTREME maXLine top cases
The EXTREME cases with DirectLock system can be combined with the EXTREME top cases (#3016740x) and EXTREME maXLine top cases (#3016770x). The top cases are also available in raw aluminium or black.
Recommendation: If you wish to combine cases and top cases, please order the lock set with eight keyed-alike cylinders and matching keys (six for the cases and two for the top case).
