• The dual USB socket with USB/USB-C connection replaces the original BMW DIN or USB single socket located to the right of the TFT display
• The dual USB socket is suitable for connecting smartphones, tablets, cameras, navigation devices, etc.
• Space-saving, as the dual USB socket eliminates the need for obstructive and unattractive DIN-USB adapters in the cockpit
• When not in use, the USB/USB-C slots of the dual socket can be sealed against splash water and dust with form-fitting elastomer covers
• The dual USB socket is CAN bus compatible
• It supports intelligent device recognition
• Integrated protection against short circuit, overheating and overvoltage
• The removed original DIN or USB single socket is mounted at the rear right below the passenger seat
• The factory-provided, free power connection under the seat is used for this purpose
• The BMW DIN or USB single socket is secured with our supplied retaining plate, which integrates form-fittingly and unobtrusively into the side line and is part of the mounting material
