Wunderlich Front Axle Slider

The effective protective performance of the axle protectors reduces the risk of damage to the fork, axle, and brake system in the event of a motorcycle fall or crash.
The protectors distance these components from direct or grinding contact with the ground or road, thereby reducing or avoiding costly motorcycle damage. In addition to material selection, we have constructively integrated two essential, specific properties and tested them in racing: damping and friction resistance that progressively increases during the sliding phase. Damping: The first positive feature is damping, which can partially or entirely absorb impact energy during sudden impacts. The second positive feature is friction resistance. This ensures that our axle protector provides minimal friction resistance during light contact but shortens the sliding phase in time and distance during prolonged, grinding road contact. In a fall with an axle protector, the sliding time and distance are reduced.
For optimal protection of your motorcycle, we recommend combining our axle protectors with our vehicle-specific protective bar systems, for which we also offer model-specific additional protection pads.
