Wunderlich Engine Protection Bar

As with all Wunderlich protection solutions, maximum protective performance was the top priority. Thanks to its compact, three-piece design, the bar reliably protects the high-performance engine and its components. The system consists of a right and left bar with two mounting points each, plus a central connecting strut. This custom-fit structure hugs the bike’s frame closely and gains extra strength and stiffness from its compact shape. It bolts securely to two carefully selected attachment points per side, distributing the loads from impacts or tip-overs across four points in total. This reduces peak stress during forceful external contact and helps prevent engine damage in the event of a crash or fall.

To complement the engine protection concept, the bar comes with two pre-mounted protectors (item no. 70211-002). These are included in delivery.
Our practical, high-quality protectors are made from a durable polymer and reduce the risk of scratches on the bars. They’re equipped with robust aluminium clamps and are fastened securely using four bolts. The design is functional yet refined in appearance, thanks to its sleek form and surface finish.

The red version of these engine bars compliments the small visible section of the subframe - looks better in person than on the website photos. Installation was super easy - everything fit perfectly.
