Our HELDENBRUST engine protection cover impresses with its perfectly combined protective and design qualities
The term “hero’s chest” for the front side of BMW boxer engines originated among enthusiasts back in the days of the legendary two-valve boxers. The term, used with a wink, has stuck – even though the “chest” of the old two-valvers now looks rather modest compared to the pronounced and impressive front of all current BMW R 1300 models. Times do change.
What hasn’t changed, however, is that the front wheels still bombard the boxer engines with spray, grit, stones – especially on black engines – and dirt. That’s why we’ve developed a protective shield for the so-called hero’s chest of the BMW R 1300 RT, RS and R. It stands up heroically to everything the front wheel throws at it – and protects your valuable engine technology!
To protect the engine cover, we’ve designed our precisely contoured HELDENBRUST engine protection cover, made from a tough, impact-resistant and durable plastic. A clever detail: we’ve integrated an opening around the BMW logo that deliberately draws the eye to the exposed emblem.
The shape of the component also provides excellent mechanical stability while keeping weight low. The HELDENBRUST protection cover is structurally integrated with a 4-point mounting system, enhancing the refined engine design even further.
