Wunderlich Fuel Injection System Cover R12 nineT, Black
This cover for the fuel injection system protects the intake pipe area, including the injector tube, line connections and throttle sensor. Leaks from the connectors are a constant problem. These are caused by lines snagging on boots or trousers and can cause troublesome malfunctions. Our powder-coated aluminium cover effectively protects the components of the injection system, including the system and the connectors, against manipulation. Visually speaking, this high-quality cover for the fuel injection system discreetly blends into the motorcycle's overall design.

After a minor tip over that caused my boot to break off the plastic fuel injector connector I realized the weakness and vulnerability of the fuel line at the injectors on both sides. This part is easy to install, robust in design and mitigates the issue. Well worth the cost as the replacement of the connector requires complete replacement of both fuel supply lines and connectors. I highly recommend this preventative maintenance

I bought these FI Covers for my '24 R12 NineT because I thought it would be a good idea to protect the fuel injection components from accidental contact. And yes, it does this job well. However, the blocky and sharply-creased design of the covers don't flow well with the lines of the R12 NineT's Boxer engine. When viewed from any one of several angles, the cover's sharp corners and non-sculpted edges just aren't appealing aesthetically. The design, at a minimun, should be curved at each end to fit around the throttle bodies and the intake tube. I think a textured plastic or a matte/glossy CF cover would be more appealing in that location. As such, after just one week of being installed, I removed them today.
