We have also applied our tried-and-tested design principles to this »MARATHON« windscreen: With its effective protection against wind and weather, its ergonomics and its distinctive long-distance comfort, it ensures a relaxed roadster and thus - quite incidentally - more passive safety. It offers optimal relief from wind pressure for the upper body and shoulders as well as a noticeable reduction in turbulence. The sporty »MARATHON« screen shows its full potential on long and short distances and at any time of the year. It offers maximum protection and perfect ergonomics for every body size. A pane that underscores the character of your BMW with its integrated shape.

The high-quality workmanship can be seen at first glance through the scratch-resistant, petrol and UV-resistant, 5 mm thick pane: clear view, without distorting optical errors that irritate. Another trademark: the hand-polished, all-round edge of the pane, which makes separate edge protection superfluous. This is the only way the pane can offer an uninterrupted view of the front, in addition to aerodynamic advantages and the reduction of wind noise. All this allows for casual, extremely relaxed riding.
