Wunderlich Sport Tank Bag DesertX
This tailored, sporty tank bag is the ideal solution for everyday travel, but also for tours over a day or multiple days. The sporty design is streamlined and functional. The practical LOXX quick releases mean the Sport tank bag can be mounted quickly and simply and released again. This means it emerges as the function “daily driver” among tank bags.
The volume is sized so that you can comfortably store everything you normally carry with you, e.g. documents, wallet, keys and smartphone. And a little bit more! The practical E-CONNECT cable access allows e.g. easy charging of the smartphone via an on-board socket.
The tank bag Sport is equipped with a dimensionally stable insert. Therefore, it gives the luggage a secure hold and protection and it does not flutter even at high speeds and therefore does not cause any speed-related noises.
The cap on the top includes a multi-use holder system consisting of regularly arranged oval openings that is comparable to the military MOLLE system. Here you can attach additional bags individually with straps. The adjustable net made of an elastic zigzag serves to quickly hold gloves, etc. For easy transport, we have provided a comfortable carrying handle.
Wunderlich BLAU - using the example of sustainable fabrics
The new CORDURA® TrueLock™? fabric consists of high-strength 6.6 multi-filament nylon fibers produced in the extrusion process. In this continuous process, the color added is “trapped” in the fibers, so to speak - that is to say, locked in. This eliminates annoying subsequent dyeing and washing processes. The process developed by CORDURA® inventor INVISTA for manufacturing CORDURA® TrueLock™? thus uses fewer resources thanks to the reduced use of water and energy, reduces CO2 emissions, while simultaneously increasing its sustainability, lifespan and durability. This type of fabric demonstrates yet further optimized, outstanding color retention, colour brightness and UV-stability. We’ve also been able to improve the fade and abrasion resistance yet again.
The sporty and compact form guarantees both complete mobility and an unrestricted view of the instruments and traffic situation. The steering isn't negatively affected.

It's nicely styled and fits the DesertX very nicely. The unique attachment method is clever, quick to release for fueling, simple and avoids extra straps running down the side of the tank like other bags. Overall the bag is of a fairly lightweight material and also small zipper, compared to a similar sized bag I have from a competitor. So long term, I'm not sure how it will hold up. For the price I expected a heavier gauge material especially since this is a tank bag for an adventure bike.
