This Wunderlich ULTIMATE tank protection bar is specially designed for adventure riding and reliably protects the tank, the fairing, the front section, and the vulnerable water cooler unit. In conjunction with the original engine protection bar, it forms a well-thought-out all-around protection concept for passive safety: In the event of a fall, the acting forces are optimally distributed over the protection bar structure to robust mounting points, reducing peak forces and moments. Visually, the protection bar integrates well into the motorcycle's design and enhances its distinctive appearance. The tank protection bar is made from a composite of precision stainless steel tubes. The tube segments are model-specific, formed on CNC tube bending machines, and cleanly welded.

Install can be difficult but with patience and not getting frustrated it will be accomplished. Instructions are also difficult as printed in German with English in very small type below it. Would be nice if the website had the English version easily downloadable for old dudes not to struggle with.
Very nicely packaged and shipped quickly. Every other sends a couple of brand sticker with their shipments. We like stickers.

was packed with care and lots of protection. The fork tube mount takes the hands of a 12 yr old to get the bolts and nuts in there but once you do that the install is a snap.

Great product and excellent fit! The install can be a bit tricky, especially with the mount near the fork tube. Installed solo in about two hours, with one of those hours being the fork tube mount alone but once you get past that you're practically done!
