Well, who likes to go for a ride alone with their top case? Our developers certainly don't! In contrast to the standard topcase carrier of the BMW CE 04 scooter, we have arranged our carrier for the original topcase not on, but behind the pillion seat. It functions as a top case carrier at the same time. The advantage: This way, the pillion seat always remains free for the ride for two!

The original Vario topcase can be easily attached to our carrier as usual

The carrier itself, along with the topcase adaptor, is very well made and feels high quality. However, I did run into some issues with the supplied hardware, a few of the included M8 bolts were not pressed correctly and couldn’t be installed. Unfortunately, customer support wasn’t able to provide replacements, but they did issue a partial refund so I could source the bolts locally, which I appreciated. This is the first time I’ve had any trouble with a Wunderlich product, and while it was a bit inconvenient, I was able to complete the installation in the end. Once installed, the carrier looks excellent and fits neatly behind the seat. Overall, I’m pleased with the end result.

I ordered this rack expecting to have the side pannier mount included. It is pictured in several of the photos but I only received the rear bracket and top case adapter plate. I even reached out to the Wunderlich WhatsApp team and they said it was before I ordered it. I’d it was included the price would be more justified but apparently it’s just for the top case.
