Wunderlich USB / USB-C Dual Socket, Black

The USB dual socket is designed to replace the original BMW DIN or USB socket. It also eliminates the need for shaky adapters. Installation takes place at the same position and uses the original connection. Therefore, no soldering or laying a new line is necessary.

1300GS windshield removal was simple and then got quite complex, manipulating ws motor, removing turn signal, and limited manipulation space. Euro version documentation seems to include a tool that would have been so handy, or maybe was missing.

I want to start out by saying that the US website says this does not fit the 1300 GS or GSA but I have purchased this and installed it on my 1300 GSA and iflt fits perfect and works just fine. I saw several similar products but none listed compatability with PD (power delivery) for fast charging. So I bought this one. Quality is very good and fits perfectly. The install is a bit more involved on the 1300 but it was probably 20 minutes from start to finish.

As far as what another review said about price, but you can make your own decision on whether this is worth it. I installed on a F850 GS which was a little more complicated than the video on the site. Instructions weren't much help either. That being said, it fit really well and works great. Bike looks a lot cleaner with this than the old DIN + cheap connector plugged in.

Too easy to install. I bought this after I purchased a tunnel cover from Amazon. After installing the cover, the OEM socket’s cover would stick up too much to allow a USB to plug in. With this one, I can. Easy install.

I recently purchased a new 2024 GS Adventure and at the same time a Peak Design Qi2 phone charger. This device would not charge my iPhone at all with the factory installed USB-A connector. The connector has variable voltage allowing for a maximum of 36W which is plenty for the charger to actually charge my phone. And now I have an extra USB-A socket too. The unit is well made and includes everything you need to remove the factory device and install the new one. I tool one star away since I believe this socket it too expensive for what it is. I thought the same thing with the previous generation one. But I can't seem to find anything else that is plug and play for my bike.
