Magura Hymec Hydraulic Clutch

The Hymec Hydraulic clutch assembly replaces the original lever and eliminates the clutch cable. The result is a much easier clutch pull because of the mechanical advantage of the hydraulic system. In addition, the clutch action is improved with a more precise and consistent pressure point.

Installation is easy but does require some above average mechanical skills and tools. The left side engine (clutch) cover needs to be removed in order to remove the return spring of the clutch actuation rod. You can watch the video under the HD Videos tab above to see what's involved. We recommend that you also order a new clutch cover gasket when ordering this hydraulic clutch. There are some subtle differences between the gasket used on F series GS models and the on-road F series bikes, so be sure to order the correct gasket.
