Luggage rack

On the product itself I would give it 5 stars fits perfectly. As far as delivery to Toronto, Canada. I decide to paid $72 US for overnight express delivery. I was not informed that there were duties on the product.I'm assuming Wunderlich has sent their products before to Canada but I was not informed about this extra cost. This created a delay in delivery where I had to go to the airport to pick it up or wait four days for it to be delivered. $550 US rack $72 US delivery Duites $101 Can Total in Can $907

Not fitting well.

I bought the backrest and pad and luggage rack. The parts are not formed correctly and won't fit. Wunderlich is aware of the problem and my parts are on the way back to them. Hopefully it will be resolved but the remedy has been slow so far. I paid my $1,300 but so far don't have an acceptable product.

Rock solid & easy install!

I just installed the Backrest Frame, Pad, & Luggage Rack. The look great, were easy to install, and are solid as a rock. I highly recommend for the K1600B!

Love this rack and the backrest

I followed the video that was created for installation (both back rest and luggage rack) and it was very easy to do. And the back rest is comfortable, and a rack is fantastic!!!

Great product, with a few engineering oversights.

I ordered the luggage rack and backrest with pad. All installed very easily and very well built. Noticed the second day of ownership that you cannot remove the seat with the backrest installed. It's a simple three screws to take the back pad off but feel like this could have been remedied during engineering with a little attention to detail. I think it would be a great product if both were sold as one unit and the luggage rack went all the way to the backrest support for some added room for bigger duffels.

Great back rest

Very nice product but packaging could have been better! Had a few chips in the blk from holes in the packaging during shipping. Other then that I would have given 5 stars

Great room and quality on a rear rack

Instructions are terrible to follow, especially when installing the backrest at the same time. Bolts and spacers are to be exchanged and used only the larger ones. However, once everything is installed, it looks and works wonders.

Top quality. Once you get an idea how to install it, it is very simple. It does provide exactly what I need: a more comfortable ride for the passenger.

Luggage Rack for KB

Very well made and sturdy. Looks great on the bike too bad I can include a photo. I gave 4 stars for a couple reasons. Price, it's not made of gold. Also, the supplied mounting bolts would have looked much better if they were black no zinc colored. If I didn't really need this for a long trip I never would have paid $599 for only the luggage rack.

Terrible instructions

I think the product is great but the assm instructions were very poor at best. When I bought the sissy bar with the luggage rack in the same order there were two parts bags but only one of them could be used. It to a lot of fit up and guess work to get the right combination of parts together to get the final results

Looks like it was made as an original part of my K1600B's design

Definitely a quality product. I got the black rack, the fit was perfect, great welds and finish. Looks good on the bike, not to large, not to small the right size to add luggage to the bike. I had just gotten back from a 10 day trip and don't like packing gear high, this gives me the flexibility to rearrange my packing and keep it low. The only minor negative I had was that the install instructions were not specific in which length bolts go where. It was easy enough to figure out when I did my install.

Looks like it belongs on the bike

Hesitated about buying accessories sight unseen however the sport crusier needed a bit of help for multiple night trips. The black luggage racks works great with the black handle bars. Installing the luggage rack was simple and the fit was spot on. Items arrived in a timely fashion was pleased and ordered the sissy bar and back rest to match.

Major fitment issue, it does not.

Fast order fulfillment but, a couple problems yet to be resolved. Design flaw requiring mounting the license plate light to be removed and be mounted upside down. Not that big of a problem. The luggage rack itself could not be installed due to mismatch of the bolt holes. Customer service, Jeff, has been very curious. The rack is currently in transit back to Wunderlich America in California. Glitches happen during initial manufacturing runs. Waiting to see how quickly this is ultimately handled and rectified. I have a 5000+ trip planned, leaving in 2 weeks, was counting on having the luggage rack for the trip, have begun fabricating my own luggage rack, If I get mine fabricate first will not need the Wunderlich rack. Just a refund.
