Ohlins Front Shock Absorber Type S46 ER1 This is the premium S46 series front shock absorber for your BMW. It is extremely resilient and operates flawlessly, even in extreme riding conditions. This shock is a deCarbon type shock, which means that gas and oil are separated by a floating piston inside the shock body. Ohlins Rear Shock Absorber Type S46 DR1S This shock absorber differs from the Street Performance Line shock in that it features a remote spring pre-load adjuster. This makes it easy to make adjustments to the ride height without tools, handy if you often ride with different loads. Within this shock absorber lies a sensational feature: The damper is a single tube design with a 46 mm piston. This monotube high pressure gas type shock absorber with an integral gas reservoir in the main body is loaded with performance. Unlike other shocks that do not have an exterior reservoir, this is not a standard emulsion type shock absorber. 30 click dampending adjustment and remote hydraulic spring preload adjustment.
