Replacement Mirror

These mirrors are made by the original equipment supplier to BMW.

These mirrors are supplied complete with the rubber boot and the compression adapter, parts that BMW sells separately. You'll receive these mirrors ready to install and all you'll need is two 17mm wrenches or the equivalent.

Stem length with Treads: 12mm (approx.)

Sold each, left and right are the same.

Website claims exact match to OEM, but it’s not. The mounting nuts are larger, 17 mm vs 14, they are black instead of silver. The texture of the plastic is slightly different. Most important, the bezel of the mirror is thicker giving the illusion that the mirror is a different size than the OEM. if you’re replacing both mirrors, should not be a problem. But if you’re only replacing one side the differences are just too much. Returned

The stock faring mounted mirrors on the RT are not placed in the best position for viewing the road behind. This mirror used in conjunction with the adapters for the 2010-2012 RT give me a clear view to the rear. The faring mounted mirrors have been tilted downward and outward to give a good view of cars in close proximity on either side. They work well and look like they belong on the machine.

I bought these GSA mirrors for my 2013 RT in order to use the Handle Bar Muffs. With the muffs installed it is impossible to see the stock mirrors as they below the handlebars...so these mirrors are the necessary evil to make them work. So..do they work as mirrors...Yes..but so did the stock mirrors. They do help and in combination with the stock mirrors can help give a better sense of the situation behind you. As I said..they were only installed to make the handle bar muffs work.

Very solid mirror, good aerodynamic design with small air turbulence fins. Good positioning from the handle bars, no vibration issues at most any speed. Adjusts very well with the pinch nut on the mounting bracket. Does the job!
