Side Wind Deflector Set
A tiny action with an amazing effect. Annoying turbulence often arise due to a number of issues. The standard screens are just part of this problem. To make sure you can enjoy a turbulence free ride, it's necessary to develop a total concept for optimum wind pressure relief.
That's why we designed these flaps for the R 1200 GS LC (2017 -). They are the counterpart for the existing standard wind deflectors mounted on the Adventure. These flaps effectively protect the GS rider from wind and weather influences that flow off to the side of the cockpit and reliably prevent turbulence in this area. The problems that arise here on an unprotected GS could even still have a negative impact on the excellent touring screens we have developed.
Even used together with the original screens, our flaps often achieve astounding improvements.

The side wind deflectors reduce the wind buffeting significantly and they divert a good portion of the airflow that would normally hit my helmet and upper body. Consider installation videos for your products. The installation instructions are not well written or illustrated.

These work well and provide a nice pocket of quiet air. They remind me of the coverage I had on my GSA. As others noted the instructions are vague, so I just did some trial and error to get them on correctly. Typical Wunderlich quality and they look great.

Reduces wind to a minimum. The deflectors are worth the money from my perspective. I can ride much further now that I don’t have the wind beating my arms and torso. This company has great customer service.
