Side Stand Enlarger, Low Chassis

Your R1200 GS can really benefit from the addition of this side stand plate because asphalt or soft ground can cause an unstable situation when parking on the side stand, especially when the bike is heavily laden. This Wunderlich part improves the situation by increasing the surface area of your side stand foot. It is designed to fit the shape of the original side stand perfectly and it's easy to install and that makes this accessory a sensible improvement for your BMW. When installing, apply a drop or two of Loctite or similar thread locking fluid to the retaining screws to ensure that they do not loosen and fall out. (available under the Related Products)

Note: Please see the Related Products for the optional Spike Set. The spikes not only offer additional grip with the ground, they also add some height which can reduce the amount of lean angle.

Sent Wrong Product

I was sent the wrong product for my motorcycle. The motorcycle type and the part were made clear at the time I ordered the part over the phone. The part was for another motorcycle. Had to pay again for product and wait for it to be delivered to apply for a refund for the original error. No priority given to reshipping due to customer service error. This could have been handled much better.
