Wunderlich Radiator Guards

The constant air stream while riding manages to suck up all sorts of things into the cooler. Stones, insects and grime fill up the delicate fins of the cooler and cannot be removed without extensive labor, often bending the cooler fins that will never look the same again.

Finely meshed stainless steel grills protect the cooler, ensuring that the cooling properties remain effective. This also greatly simplifies the cleaning and the mesh will always look as good as before.

Your GSA will come with a set of plastic radiator guards installed. Is this enough for highway riding? Probably. But I wanted the extra beefiness of a guard that will protect something that a plastic guard cannot do. The most pain in the installation was trying to get the top tabs squeezed together to release. After some jiggling it came out fine. I would get these radiator guards to give you peace of mind on the road or off road.

Install was a breeze. Very nice product. This is by far the most expensive option on the market for this particular piece of equipment, but they should do the job. My only gripe is that I wished they would have finished the metal screen in black as well. I went with black for the aesthetic and the silver screen sticks out a bit (still looks nice). May pull them off at some point and finish the paint on the screen so it’s a truly blacked out look on the underside of the bike. 5 stars.

These are a great replacement for the OEM plastic parts. Plastic always hardens and becomes brittle with age, so it is only a matter of time for them to break when hit by a stone. Easy to fit and good looking. Fast and Efficient delivery to NZ.
