Footpeg Lowering Kit

This lowering kit relocates your foot pegs down 35mm (1-3/8"), forward 5mm (3/16") and also outward 35mm (1.37") left side & 40mm (1.57") right side. The result is a more relaxed posture: your knees are less cramped and the lower center of gravity improves the handling and long distance comfort. Installation requires no permanent modifications. The kit includes the hardware necessary for lowering the shifter and rear brake the corresponding amount and also includes enlargements for the shifter and brake lever to correspond with the added width. Perfectly machined and beautifully anodized, this part is approved by the strict German TÜV which means that the design and manufacturing process has been tested and approved.

Please Note: Lowering foot pegs can compromise cornering clearance in extreme lean angles. Please be advised and ride accordingly!

As said, expensive but very high quality. I wish the price was lower by making the linkage and shifter/brake covers optional. Also, the instructions have a 2mm instead of a 0.2 mm gap for setting the rear brake slack.

The peg lowering hardware is top quality and I especially appreciated the shift & brake lever extentions and lowering hardware that comes with this kit. None of the other vendors make the conversion as easy and satisfying. The quality is excellent on everything, but it is pricey. If you can spend over $300 to gain a little less than 1.4" of legroom then this is the kit you want.
