This rain cover is an important optional accessory for your Wunderlich Elephant Tank Bag (20603000). Although our tank bags feature water/dust resistant zippers and are constructed of water resistant materials, in a heavy, driving rain, the materials might absorb some water, leaving you with a soggy tank bag. After several hours of heavy rain, even the most water resistant of woven materials can eventually allow the passage of water through seams, especially when pushed by wind, potentially reaching the tank bag's contents. The cover is made of durable plastic and it features a see-through top so that you can still see your map pocket. It's held in place with a strong elastic band that's sewn into the bottom. When not used, it can be folded up and easily stores inside the tank bag or in one of the tank bag's side pouches.
