Hi guys, I wanted to comment that these pegs are terrific on my 2012 BMW K1600 GT. I was never satisfied with the spongy feel of the stock OEM pegs, which are mostly rubber. And being an adventure rider also (GSA), I like being able to stand on the pegs, even if occasionally on the big K bike to stretch my legs. The EVO1 Vario pegs are super high quality and remarkably easy to install. They give me a much more direct and connected feel to the bike which is really valuable in twisties and navigating city streets. I did get the rubber pads but I found that with the short VARIO extensions they make it too difficult to shift without getting my left foot into an awkward position. I would recommend the rubber pads only if you go for a longer extension or you can adjust the angle of your shift lever. Really happy I got these for my K1600. One of those upgrades that makes the bike even more of a joy to ride.
