This windscreen is adequate to keeping most of the pressure off of your chest and neck. It’s good protection from bugs an other random projectiles from the road (sand, gravel, etc.). It does not eliminate buffeting on your head. You’ll need a windshield extender for that.

My new windscreen is perfect!
I ordered my windscreen on-line on Friday and it arrived on Sunday. Packaging was great and no damage. The install was chimp easy. Four bolts.
Thank-you Wunderlich America!

Keep in mind that naked bikes, BMW calls them ‘Roadsters’, are pretty difficult to outfit with adequate wind protection. This is a good windscreen, although the picture shows hand guards, mine didn’t come with them- just the screen. Anyway, with either a BMW windscreen bracket (my setup) or a Wunderlich bracket , a small amount of hardware and this is an easy install. I would very STRONGLY recommend the Wunderlich reinforcement bracket part Part #: 30451002. If you live in a windy area you’ll will need this bracket. It ties the windscreen bracket and bike together by attaching to both. If you are still experiencing windscreen flutter, put some spacers between the windscreen and the TFT screen corners. I used stacked felt furniture pads and the screen never moves. Ever. The space between the windscreen and the TFT screen corners is about 1”, so that one inch is where your vibration would come from. Again, naked bikes are tough to rig with good wind protection, but the Wunderlich screen takes away any pressure to my chest and eliminates about 80% of head buffeting for me at 6’2”. If you want to kill all buffeting, attach the Wunderlich windscreen spoiler to the top of it AND get a lower seat. Wunderlich makes those too and I really think BMW seats (and all OEM seats) are bare bones and cheap compared to what’s out there aftermarket. You CAN get rid of buffeting! You can actually tour with your 1250R! It’s an experiment to get it right and it’s different for everyone. Think it through. Take your time. And don’t forget you can take that Wunderlich windscreen off whenever you want to get the wind going again! Takes about 30 seconds. Great product. I’m very pleased with the Marathon screen.
