Footrest ERGO Comfort - 25mm Lower

    Available in: Black or Silver

With our footrests, the feet rest significantly lower by 25 mm, the knee angle opens up and is enlarged, which leads to a thoroughly relaxed and comfortable sitting position. This makes it possible to reduce the painful and tortuous effects associated with a tight knee angle, among other things, and normally avoid these altogether. An open knee angle provides noticeably more comfort when riding. This simultaneously reduces the mechanical load on the knee joints and the constriction of the blood vessels in the hollows of the knees.

With our sophisticated construction we achieve noticeable, ergonomically effective lowering without considerably extending the base of the rest - and thus the footrest - outwards. A measure that actually adds to your comfort. At the same time, the angle clearance is retained to a high degree. The good accessibility of the gear and break levers and their safe operation makes riding a real pleasure. Made of high-strength aluminum, the footrests are designed for the heaviest loads.

    Functions:

    • 25 mm lower compared to the position of the original footrests
    • Ergonomic thanks to a relaxed, open knee angle
    • Reduces the load on the knee joints and blood vessels
    • Tireless touring pleasure
    • Complete set with assembly kit
    • Made in Germany

Great Upgrade for Touring on '23 R1250RS
    (New Mexico) | April 7th, 2024
I do more "touring" than "sport" riding on my '23 R1250RS. These pegs relieve some stress on the knees, and give a lot better traction with my boots. Super easy install. Definitely recommend if you are putting lots of highway miles on your R1250RS. Geometry has changed regarding shifting. I find myself riding the shift lever on down shifts, preventing the next gear change. Simple thing to fix with a quick adjustment of the lever, or some extra training. Great product! I paired with a handlebar riser kit, bringing the riding position on my R1250RS to something more similar to the R1250R. If you decide want to hit the track, it only takes a few minutes to swap back to the factory pegs.

    Major Improvement Over Stock
    (Rhode Island) | July 7th, 2023
I have ridden a few hundred miles on these and so far they are a significant improvement over stock on my 2018 R1200R. My footing feels much more secure and I'm more comfortable on longer rides. The part that surprised me was how much I appreciate being able to reposition my feet further away from the bike. My only negative experience is that my left heel hits the center stand. This was something I expected given the lower height. I have not needed to reposition the shifter or rear brake. I'm sure this is different for everyone, but if it helps I wear a size 44/10.5.

    Solid peg!
    (CA) | February 26th, 2023
First off, shout out to Wunderlich customer service for furnishing me a clear "menu" of footpeg lowering solutions. Very good pegs, if rather expensive, to help accommodate a bigger boot. But reconsider DIY on 2004-2009-ish Oilheads. Getting that dang steel spring back in defeated me and I resorted to my local BMW service doing it for me. Reviewing YouTube videos on peg replacement on more recent models (e.g., RT), I noticed BMW has changed the location of the spring for greater accessibility. So take heed. Once, on, the pegs are fine. I also purchased the rubber inserts ($38 each, not cheap) but haven't installed them as my boots on the steel toothed peg provides sufficient grip, even on a very wet recent SF Bay Area winter morning.
