When using a navigation system or other end device on a motorcycle, the question arises as to how do I implement a permanent power supply. You can lay a cable directly from the battery to the cockpit area, but this is tedious and time-consuming. In addition, this type of power supply must be protected by a fuse. In addition, the battery will discharge quickly if you forget to switch off the device itself after switching off the ignition.

Our »Quick Connect« cable set offers a professional, safe solution. To do this, it is plug & play with pre-assembled plugs at the original BMW connection of the DIN or USB socket on the back and smartly integrated into the power supply of the on-board network. Then the connection cable of the end device is connected to the »Quick Connect« cable set using the standardized quick connector included in the assembly kit. Complete!

With this solution, the power supply is automatically interrupted when the motorcycle ignition is switched off, so that the battery cannot discharge unnoticed. The fuse (max. 5 A) takes place via the on-board network. And, the DIN and USB sockets remain free for the use of other consumers!
