These foot pegs worked fine. BMW could have helped with the install if their pins were about 1/8 inch longer and had pointed ends to make it easier to insert thru the bracket and collar while fighting the spring. Also if BMW didn't rely on circlips in the end of the pins, cotter pins or a nylon inserted nut would be much easier to install! The left pin required the shift lever to be removed in order to remove/reinstall it (also BMW's fault!)
