Wunderlich Bag Protection Bars

These case protection bars incorporate the unique design of the K 1600 B and are guided underneath the cases. They integrates perfectly on a visual level and extend the secure protection of the heavy K 1600 B/Grand America to the rear of the vehicle. The prominent cases get damaged very quickly in the event of a skid, but these bars reliably protect against expensive repairs.

I hope I never have to find out whether these crash bars really work or not. I installed them in my brand new bike, and are really nice looking crash bars. Installation was simple and contrary to other reviews, I didn’t have to remove the cases. However, I feel the installation could have been much easier had the instructions were clearer. I suggest rewrite the instructions.

They do look great, extremely difficult to install. Couldn't figure how to take off the bags, with electronics which would have been easier. I am not sure they will protect the bags if bike falls over; hopefully I won't have to find out.
