Mirror Adaptor, LC

Though the original mirrors are well placed to provide wind protection, they are not in the optimal spot for a clear view of what's behind. The position of the rear view mirrors is inherently low, and you need to look down to get a view of what's behind. Installing a set of supplemental mirrors is easy and it allows rearward vision in the same plane as the road ahead.

These adapters are threaded to accept a M10 x 1.5 mirror stud. The 10mm size is fairly common and you can mount a variety of mirrors, including the BMW mirrors for the R1200 GS for example. The mirrors that we recommend for this application however are our Vario Flash mirrors. The Flash mirrors have a unique angular shape that compliments the lines of the RT. Additionally, they are angle adjustable, so that you can achieve the optimal position and avoid interference with the windshield. Sold individually: each side needs one adapter and one mirror.

Important ordering information:
If you want to install mirrors on both sides, you will need the following:

Two mirror adapters (additional option: Adapter Set 21211102)
Two mirrors (suitable versions can be found under the Related Products)

NOTE: If your bike comes with a switch located on the lever perch, then you will need to order 3272366 so you can install the mirror and keep the BMW switch in its original location. See part #3272366 in Related Products

I am a huge fan of wunderlich accessories for my 2019 BMW R1260RT. I have installed the full array of luggage racks and crash bars with 100% satisfaction. These mirror adapters are no different. I am happy with my factory mirrors so I purchased these adapters to add a tackform phone mount. Works great! I will say, the right side mirror adapter Wunderlick provides is not an exact match to the shape of the factory BMW part, but it fits just fine. Love the added versatility these adapters give to the restricted space the R1250RT handlebars provides. They factory handlebars are very aesthetically pleasing, they don’t leave room for adding things like gps and phone mounts. These adapters give you options and are worth the money in my opinion.

Although more expensive than it should be; it is the only workable mount if you want to add a phone mount, mirror, radar detector, or SPOT to the bars of your RT LC. I am using it to mount my SPOT Gen III on my 2018 RT. I also had to order a RAM ball mount from RAM to complete my mount. It works perfectly; however, the mirror mount piece is not as wide as the original clamp piece and leaves gaps where the original piece was.
