Seat Height Lowering Kit

Little trick - big effect! Simply swapping the original rubber grommets for this loweringkit makes the rider’s seat at the front drop by 10 mm. Those 10 mm often make the decisive feel good factor of the BMW. Simply swap in one easy move and you can remove it again just as fast. The bushings have the same outer diameter as the originals but the hole is offset to allow further adjustments.

Went on easily as shown in their video. I could not tell that my seat was lowered. The ad says this mod can lower the seat by 10 mm. I believe that is equivalent to about .4 inches. I will take the lowering help, just don't expect dramatic results. Manufacturing is top quality and very easy install.

I bought these to try to not need the expensive lowered seat. Dropped in the front about 10mm as promised, but wasn't enough for my 29" inseam. Keeping in case I use the original seat for more long distance comfort.

I'm not yet flat-footed on the R1250GS (and probably won't be) but this product got me closer. I've put about 100 miles on the bike with this lowering kit installed and I find it quite comfortable. Not sure how it will be on an extended run so I threw the OEM rubber bushings in the tankbag for a quick changeout just in case. Great product for those of us compromised by the seat height on these great bikes.

My new BMW came with the standard height seat. Even in the low position, I could only put 1 boot on the ground. Now with the lowering kit, the seat is about 3/4 of an inch lower and I can now almost flat foot both boots. I'll continue to look for a low seat, but this is a much less expensive option for now.

I was considering a new lower seat. My K1600GT is at the lowest seat height. I am 5’ 7” and need a bit lower seat. This kit is easy to replace on the seat adjustment plate and lowered my seat enough to allow better handling of this big bike at low speeds, stopping and starting in traffic. While expensive for a couple of rubber plugs, the utility far exceeds the price.
